WindTunnelThe Architecture Program at Portland State University will be hosting an open house to the design community on the evening of February 8 at their new federally funded Green Building Research Lab.

The facility hopes to promote cutting edge sustainable design, research, and education by making this facility available for studies and collaborations on current and proposed projects. We expect this innovative lab to facilitate a collaborative working relationship among architects and engineers in support of the integrated design process.

The creation of this building research facility is a joint project of the Department of Architecture, College of Engineering and the School Urban Affairs at Portland State University.

An open reception and exhibit of recent winners of the Seattle AIA “What Makes it Green” Award program will accompany the tours of the Green Lab and other research facilities.

Open House: February 8, 6-8PM at Engineering College lobby, 1935 SW 4th Avenue, 97201
